The Custom Wheel Spinner lets you build your own personalized spinning wheel from scratch. You have complete control over every detail: add custom text entries, pick individual colors for each segment, choose from five color palettes, set spin duration from 1 to 20 seconds, enable winner removal for elimination rounds, and toggle sound effects and confetti. Your custom wheel is saved automatically to your browser so you can return to it anytime. How to Build Your Own Custom Wheel

Creating a custom spinning wheel takes just minutes. Add your content, style each segment, configure the behavior, and your personalized wheel is ready to spin.

Create Your Custom Entries
Add as many entries as you need by typing and clicking Add. Each entry can be up to 50 characters. Click Import to bulk-load entries from a .txt or .csv file, or type them individually for precision.

Click any color dot to set a custom hex color for that segment. Choose from five palette themes (Classic, Muted, Warm, Cool, Monochrome), or mix and match individual custom colors to create a fully unique wheel design.

Adjust spin duration from 1 to 20 seconds for quick picks or dramatic reveals. Enable “Remove winner” for elimination-style rounds. Toggle confetti and sound effects to match your environment and audience.

Yes. All entries, custom colors, and settings are automatically saved to your browser’s local storage. Your wheel will be exactly as you left it when you return. No account or sign-up required - just close the tab and come back later.

Can I export and share my custom wheel?

You can export the entry list as a .txt file using the Export button. Share the file with others, and they can import it on their own device to recreate your wheel. This works across all wheel pages on spinwheel.org.

How many segments can the custom wheel have?

There is no hard cap. The custom wheel works with anywhere from 2 to over 100 segments. Text and segment size adjust automatically. Fewer than 30 entries gives the best visual result, but the wheel functions correctly with any number.

Can I adjust how long the custom wheel spins?

Yes. Use the Spin Duration setting to control how long the wheel spins, from a quick 1-second pick to a dramatic 20-second build-up. Longer durations create more suspense for giveaways and audience-facing events.

Can I create multiple different custom wheels?

Each wheel page on spinwheel.org saves its entries separately. You can use the Custom Wheel for one set of entries, and other wheel pages (like Picker Wheel or Wheel of Names) for different sets. Export and import .txt files to transfer entries between them.
